Everything Blu Facebook

Release Schedule (SUBJECT TO APPROVALS!) - We would like to let you know our direction over the next few releases and as stated above, these are subject to approvals. We are taking on board suggestions of movies without steelbook releases but we need some sort of foot in the market before doing so. However, some of those titles have already been brought up in a meeting today, so hopefully we can progress further with those soon.

This schedule is planned to have full Exclusive SteelBook designs (Not just flipped artwork exclusivity). All would feature the same setup as Shaun of the Dead; Full Slip, Lenticular & Blu Box.

Casino EE 002
Hot Fuzz EE 003
Oblivion EE 004
The Worlds End 005

Thank you to everyone supporting us, please let us know you thoughts on the titles above!!

The new art is a step backwards from the previous artwork IMO... sorry to say, but it looks very amateurish and actually reminds me of that awful Spider-Man Homecoming poster, which is never a good thing lol.

View attachment 336274

 I've gotta say I would easily choose this poster for the cover of the Spider-Man Homecoming steelbook over the animated art being used now.

I've actually never seen this poster.

But then I still haven't seen the movie either.

I do like it but i prefer the old mock up

My main problem is nighy, why is he on the front? I love the guy but he's not a main character. Literally in the film a number of seconds

Should of been broadbent if anything. Even the 2 Andys

You want HOT FUZZ fan art ? I give you these vomitrocious examples:-

The new art is perfectly balanced with our two heroes well placed in the centre with two of the subsidiary characters there but not there, ghost-like, almost blending into the background - a very nice touch indeed not usually seen.

In summary: Creative, original, well designed, very pleasing to the eye. . . and . . . definitely . . . not . . . fan art.

Anyone preferring the original mock-ups will more than likely find that art or art very similar on the slipcase.

Hi Flloydo

Thanks for your constructive criticism we will look at the imagery concerning character hierarchy.

Thanks

You made "concerning character hierarchy" sound very sarcastic

Good to hear though (if you will infact do that). Even in the fan art that Numpty above just posted don't include nighy. Not in one. and they were big fans of the film to make their own fan art lol

Sorry but that was not my intention I was 100% serious.

Yes, don't waste your time with him . . . he doesn't understand serious.

Hahahahaha

You still don't understand how to use the forum.

I actually thought "concerning character hierarchy" was quite a funny comment

but I have to ask why the other two are force ghosts?

Secondary characters . . . allowing the two stars of the picture to "shine".

As for the typical buddy-buddy poster art fed up with it I am . . . good to see something different here .. . too often the brilliant supporting cast (often better actors than the stars) is left off the artwork . . . and following that concept to its logical conclusion you end up with film artwork for "A listers" like Tom Cruise in whose films you'd think there was no other actor but him (lol).

Anyway, like I mentioned a way back, the two actors feature by themselves on nearly all home video releases of HOT FUZZ with artwork in truth much of a muchness . . . so good to see a fresh approach here with subsidiary characters getting a look in and although buddy-buddy films more often than not just feature the two buddies I applaud the fresh approach of the mew TBC artwork.

Buddy-buddy Blu-ray artwork:-
(kind of a theme running through these examples (lol) so not a bad idea to break the mold and include other characters in the artwork (imo))

Another 48 Hrs. and Stakeout are still not available on Blu-ray. I've been waiting years for these.

Yet 48 Hrs. and Another Stakeout are on Blu-ray but I won't buy them until the other 2 are available.

I disagree with you on peripheral characters if it means a bad photoshop being the cover art. If you're gonna use a piece of art by Drew Struzan, John Alvin or someone of similar talent then sure, fill your boots. But this is just a bad photoshop and in my opinion (and it seems everyone else's too!) the first piece was much better.

HOT FUZZ SPOILER:
also putting a side character who is revealed to be the villain on the front is kinda dumb

Of the art you attached I believe two (Bad Boys 2, 2 guns) pieces have been used on steelbooks. So I don't really understand your argument, how are you exhausted by it if you have to search the depths of deviant art to find vhs covers?

Maaaaaaaan, quoting you is a pian in the arse when you fill your post with images.
