Typical after beetlejuice, isn't it. We didn't even need that to be good with the previous blu-ray having such a good finish.

With 27 and half thousand steels, no wonder they couldn't afford gloss.

Opened mine now. I actually quite like it. The slip and folder have a lovely soft touch to them, which is miles ahead of the basic gloss crap wb normally give us. Cards are great too.

Booklet is decent, but its not a hardback as per the mockup. Blu-ray is blue too (my pet peeve), not the freddy art shown. Steel is matte, but it's not particularly streaky. It should have been like the exorcist, with a spot gloss title and undercoat.

I'm convinced that that the folks at WB spend an inordinate amount of time trolling us. Like seriously, who could look at the rear steelbook design and think that it's good work? No wonder they never released the full steelbook artwork in advance. And then numbering them out of 27,400.

I don’t understand Warner. Sorry but they are f**king useless and whoever okayed this having no finish and that steel back art should loose their f**king job. How can you spot gloss the Warner logo on a cheap shipping box but nothing on a £45 edition. Nothing. Are they taking the p!ss???

Beetlejuice full gloss and glossy slip and this the complete opposite. It don’t make sense. Exorcist last year spot gloss on steel and glossy slip. The dark knight (and other Batman editions) spot gloss etc.

And just like the Beetlejuice beauty shot showing the wrong items or missing graphics this is the same. The book is supposed to be the other way round and looks like a hardback in the BS. There was another mock up that ended up changing back to the current one and this has ended up like the other mock up. Ffs

Just cancelled mine with HMV seconds before they captured payment. Not paying £45 for that. Will just buy the 4k disc and put it in my other Zavvi steelbook.
