The more I look at that front art especially, the more I don't like it.

As for the back art... that's just recycled from the dvd collection.

Really hoping the UK steel is better and hoping they use this art for steel or box along with what HMV posted...

The back is very similar to the first US/Canada steelbook which I don't think has been bettered. The front has an 80s Freddy t shirt vibe like ones sold in HMV. It could have been worse! Really do hope they use the original poster as above for the UK

I can’t even make out what the image on the front is it’s so weird. Hurts my brain. I mean I can see it but it’s so strange. And the weird retro lines just don’t go with this film at all

If that’s what’s included in the U.K. collectors set then money saved. I’ll cancel. But watch them put the cool art on the slip

Agreed.
If the original art is not on the steelbook (like The Exorcist and Twister collector editions), then at least put it on the slipcase (like Jaws 3/4).

If they see a market to do these collector edtions in the first place , then they should be fully aware of our artwork preferences. If they did any research, they'd see our dislike to previous artwork choices.

Artwork for the standard release which I believe was used for a dvd many years ago. I hope this isn't the slipcase artwork to go with that Steelbook.
