Yep, and it looks like they still haven't fixed the ballsed up the remastered hypersonic truehd track on the 4k it's useless (and sounds totally sh!t) downsampled from 192khz to 48khz.

I’m worried with more companies leaving physical media (see LG’s recent announcement), it will give studios the idea that these price hikes will not negatively impact collectors

isnt this identical to the korean 4k release? steelbook looked quite weird imo.. streaky with a super thin layer of gloss

I don't think there ever was a 3rd disc with the steelbook. That's with the deluxe collectors edition from a few years ago.

Sure, sure but I'm wondering what exactly is on the blu-ray with this set. I've got the UK collector's set and the discs are marked as 4k, blu-ray + extras and bonus blu-ray.

It's the standard blu-ray, the same one that's been out for over 10 years in multiple regions. The 4K set was the same. It was that blu-ray + 4K movie disc + a bonus disc with features on the new 2019's track sound design made for the 4K release.

The sound design which ironically enough all 4K releases outside of Asia and Germany fu!ked up and downsampled to 48khz instead of the intended 192khz hypersonic frequency.
