This Friday, we’ve got a classic animated Japanese one-two punch with prints inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle and Akira!

We’re Howl-ing over Alex Hovey’s newest Studio Ghibli inspired print. Alex’s print takes us inside Howl’s world, literally, with a unique look at the classic cast of characters alongside the iconic Moving Castle, all framed with bits and pieces of narrative from throughout the film.

Chris Skinner’s print, inspired by the later sections of Akira, showcases Kaneda and Kei escaping the labyrinthian sewers of Neo-Tokyo. The architecture of Akira is one of our favorite aspects of the movie, and Chris’ print is a stunning ode to the story’s detailed and sprawling world.

Alex and Chris’ prints will be available for purchase Friday (6/21) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
