Slightly OT but how exactly do you quickly/accurately spot the difference between matte and zero finish? Based on the earlier photos I've almost certainly called some zero finishes matte and I'm sure I've seen some places refer to it as 'low' gloss.
Its a good question and honestly I find it a little confusing. Cos even not all matte finishes are the same. But I think the zero finishes have more of a slight metalic shine around some of the print edges when you catch them in the right light.

This seems like matte with zero finish on the actual art but I'm not even sure if I know what I'm talking about so hey ho

I don't mind it in hand tbh. Got my copy today from Zavvi.

As I think I understand it.

Zero finish is printed directly onto metal with ink not paint. Like a printer.

Or Zero Matte
The artwork is zero inked (as above) onto the steel then matte painted over for what we call "zero matte"
Or Matte
The artwork is completely matte painted onto the steel with just matte for what we call "Matte finish"
Or Gloss
The artwork can be matte painted onto the steel and then gloss covered for what we call "Gloss finish"

None of that sounds right but I'm sure some of it is. :hilarious:

It don’t actually look streaky to me. But it’s hard to tell without it in hand
