Sorry to all but it is very much streaky and as far as I can tell, a straight zero finish. Not matte. Not gloss.
I don't have time for more images, I'll leave that to the ever excellent @Flloydo.

Lovely design. Poor finish. UK got screwed on the quality finish this time.

I can't be arsed to send it back but beyond the art design, it's very unimpressive. The back is nah.

I sometimes think the artists must get peeved seeing their work not given the love it deserves and not showing it up to snuff.
With the design being divisive on the initial reveal, I can happily say that it's really good. I just wish they'd treated it better.
It could have looked beautiful.

Love the film. Probably pick up a premium down the line if Fox Mouse gives the all clear.

Such a shame. Really happy to own it, I adored the film. But that is a streaky steelbook. It’s not the worst streaky matte finish I’ve seen and head on it looks like a thick paint job but man that is streaky. Such a f**king downer they didn’t gloss this

Also been a lovely bright week with the sunshine out and then dull and cloudy again today so my photos aren’t the best

Tbh mate it didn’t look streaky in that video you posted, and you know how half these people get sh!t wrong plus I don’t like that boring reviewer you posted and his videos are sh!t so it was hard to tell AND I even stated it’s hard to tell without having it hand

One thing I’ve learned is I don’t trust half these d!ckheads opinions of what a finish is (and yeah that means some of you lot here too lol not just unboxing accounts) the amount of times the wrong thing is said and it’s completely different when in hand which is why I go so in depth in my own photos. I try to show the finishes off as well as I can if it’s got something to show off. It’s my service to you lot and I enjoy it

But yeah this is a bit streaky unfortunately

You need to clear your room of the ganja fumes and rewatch it, because it looks streaky as hell in that video. Then again I'm watching it on a 21" monitor, whereas I assume you're watching it on your phone??

Just received mine anyway and thankfully it has a dented corner, so at least I have a proper excuse to return it now

It’s not the worst I’ve seen so it will do. We’ll never see premiums for 20th Century Studios anyway. Best chance for something better is a re release in 5 years. Maybe the Matt Ferguson art…
