But there should be an exception for people who open them so they can have a pristine steel book under the shrink wrap :D
You don't want to do that with a heat gun machine. The uneven, uncontrolled heat can do more harm than good to your prized steelbook/slipcase/box.

I was so close to have ordered the OC but forgot to login first :dead: . At least now I don't have to deal with this fiasco.

Btw, how the heck did they manage to scratch the steelbooks since they used a carpeted surface to avoid that in the first place? The way they described it was confusing.

I actually bought on eBay, but the seller told someone they’d work with them to get replacement steelbooks, but obviously that requires opening them, which don’t want to do...but I’ll start by opening the single I bought and then I’ll have to decide what to do after that.

Something about putting "the paper" back on the carpeted surface before putting the steelbooks on there.
I don't know what "the paper" is or what it's for but basically somebody messed up.

i opened A1 last night to watch and check out the steelbook.

i think they shoulda skipped the bare metal . it really makes the light scratches more noticeable.

Not sure why that impacts @blackberry though who's shipping to those in the outside the US?

Would be good to get some communication from one of them

Shipping has started. I don’t think all editions have been received by GB hosts, but those editions that have been received are beginning to be posted.

I've yet to receive a shipping invoice though and my experience of @Aniv's GB's is that everyone gets them at the same time? Or is it different this time because @blackberry is shipping an allocation? This is what I mean it's the lack of communication that's the problem because for all I know I've just been left off of a shipping invoice or maybe no one has had it? I don't mind the waiting it's the not knowing the situation which is the problem
