I do find it very odd whoever this is has Blade Runner 2049 as a first release though. Like that’s a huge red flag for me there imo and yeah very well could be bootleg. Especially when Manta had to scrap it and Zeta couldn’t add a steelbook to their slip but who knows. All we can do is wait and find out.
I do really want a premium for it outside the zeta slip (never bothered with the FA) but I’m not sure I like that art in the OP anyway
Really? I always disliked that one, there's been at least a couple of decent designs, Filmarena's is really strong.
Exactly that. It was the title, the region, and all the apparent model copies from manta - plus the complete lack of historical Internet presence - that just made me think it was a bit sus. I mean they even used manta's model for their sony "announcement" (to all 10 followers) last month.
Just to be clear: i mean the purple one by mondo that was released on the initial physical release date, not the yellow one that was released later, I don't like that one either
For what it's worth, the other site, which we can't mention by name I guess but I think initials are ok as I've seen it mentioned before. MP site says it will be an official distributor.
Yeah, I wasn't keen on that Blue/Purple Mondo one either tbh. No title for starters.
Imo the US Best Buy blu ray was the best WWA one & the Filmarena emboss/deboss/gloss the best WEA one. Both super hard and expensive to get hold of now unfortunately.
This could be a damn good release. Early days. Needs more information.
I'm definitely up for this release if it's legit though, as I only have the UK 4k slipcase digipack set - which is gorgeous but not a steel.

Imo the US Best Buy blu ray was the best WWA one & the Filmarena emboss/deboss/gloss the best WEA one. Both super hard and expensive to get hold of now unfortunately.
This could be a damn good release. Early days. Needs more information.

Sane designs as the limited edition digipack which is superb imo. By far two of the best arts that express the whole movies vibes the best. If I didn't have the digipack I would go for this steelbook above.
