Cookiezilla has laid dormant for just under a year, and in the creature’s absence, a new adversary rises. Today we continue to honor the legacy of artist and brilliant sculptor Gabriel Marquez with the newest entry in the Cookiezillaverse–ELMO KONG!
Gabriel’s original character and statue, Cookiezilla, is a truly special project for us. Gabriel’s unfortunate passing in 2021 was a devastating loss in so many ways, and we hope continuing to build upon the Cookiezillaverse alongside his family and artists and sculptors we trust helps Gabriel’s artistic spirit live on.
Working off of a concept by Doug Nagle, we’ve brought Cookiezilla’s most fierce (so far!) adversary to life as an incredibly detailed resin statue. Elmo Kong is both oddly cuddly and fearsome, making Doug’s unique addition to the Cookiezillaverse a perfect fit!
We’re looking forward to seeing the response to Elmo Kong, and don’t forget, Cookiezilla will rise again in the future!
We will also be donating 10% of profits to the Pediatric Tumor Foundation.
