I tend to take everything with a pinch of salt even stuff on official sites. Look at the **** show of wrong and lack of information with The Fall guy, wrong amount of discs listed, wrong running times, when all it had to say was 4k extended, 4k theatrical, 1080p theatrical, 126 min runtime theatrical and 146 mins runtime extended. Would that have been so hard?

HMV has now removed the September 16th release date and replaced it with Coming Soon.

Ironically, Inception still shows as September 16th.

Giving credence that they may both be postponed for now.

Amazon and Zavvi still have both releasing on September 16th.

Yeah, I noticed that the other day. Not sure how long it's been like it. There's been no talk of inception cancelled or delayed btw, so we don't have any reason to believe that won't go ahead

Yep. Usually get an email from HMV about date changes but nothing for Interstellar.

Wasn't it delayed? I thought it was delayed. I doubt the upcoming release date sticks. Other sites make it seem delayed by Warner Bros.

So Amazon UK indicate same date , and Zavvi said for December .... If Warner made a decision it will be for every retailer IMO.

Just got an email from HMV confirming that both Interstellar and Inception have been delayed, and given the release date as 01/01/2026! It's surely just a placeholder, but it made me laugh. I can't wait to get these lovely 10th anniversary editions, after the 11th anniversary

Unfortunately we have to cancel your pre-order for the Interstellar Ultimate Collector’s Edition with Steelbook. This cancellation direction comes from Warner Bros as explained in their official statement below.

"Thank you for showing interest in the Interstellar Ultimate Collector’s Edition with Steelbook.

We’re pleased to announce that in celebration of the film’s 10th anniversary we’re developing a new commemorative product in collaboration with Christopher Nolan and Paramount Pictures, including a new exclusive 23-minute special feature “The Future is Now: A Look Back at Interstellar”, a filmmaker intro letter, booklet with never-seen-before storyboards, and a set of 5 embroidered patches. This will replace the existing Ultimate Collector’s Edition when it launches for pre-order on 11th October. We look forward to sharing more details and images soon."

This new edition will replace the existing Ultimate Collector’s Edition and will be available for pre-order starting on 11th October at 9am on Zavvi international.

I don't think it is a steel. I've seen pictures online and it looks like your typical collectors edition with additional extras along with the dvd/blu ray
