they did it again! a small logo on the back, why? use the f#cking whole area.
and the inside artwork is totally crap. the idea with all versions of logan is nice, but this looks like a ms paint job.

the front is great!!!
Just lazy, a real let down. The front is decent, although I prefer the Deadpool version.

Genuinely surprised to see so many people saying they’ll get both. Do you give the extra discs away?
I’ll get whichever HMV has (assuming one is at Zavvi and one at HMV). I thought the film was terrible, there was barely any narrative and. It a fan of 4th wall breaks. There were some funny parts though, Chris evans was the highlight.

I find all this multiverse stuff tedious, what did you guys think of the film?

People that want both really enjoyed the movie & are collectors. Why would you get it if you thought the film was terrible lol

I don't like to double dip especially when the design would have worked so much better with Wolverine on one side and Deadpool the other but it's a decent enough front. I'd much rather buy a specialist release though, they shouldn't have a problem outdoing this version.

I'm a big fan of the first two Deadpool films, less of the third as the writing just wasn't there but I still had a good time watching it. The film was fine and most importantly didn't hate itself and go out of its way to try and undermine what came before, something which most of the other Disney Marvel films from the last few years haven't been capable of. This might sound strange given how many bad Fox X-men movies we got but these characters only really worked their best in a much more gritty setting than Disney Marvel is willing to provide.

I don’t see why you don’t just pick one of these up. Possibly the best WWA first wave marvel steels I’ve seen. Unreal artworks. Or buy both and keep the one you prefer in hand and send the other back. Plus the inside art don’t phase me like some people. Yeah I wish they used both fronts on either side of one steel but those greedy f**kers are only doing it because of one MCU film being released this year.

I’m not even sure if a premium front art will look better. Most the posters have been pretty sh!t. Never seen these and the fronts smoke most the others. Illustrated posters have been the better posters and I can’t see them being used

I’m just glad it’s not the vinyl art with those crappy front profile shots with the reflection in the claws and swords. I did think it would be the inside art on the steels tho so that could potentially work on a premium
Partly (mostly) because I'm stubborn when it comes to greedy studios/companies, especially Di$ney. Will see how I feel once they go up in the UK though... might have settled on one design over the other by then.

I don't mind the interior art either. Actually think it makes a nice change from just slapping a random screenshot from the movie in there. Disc designs are also a nice touch tbf.

You make a good point though... these are the best designs I've seen so far, and there's a good chance they may not be used on any other release. Would be even worse if a premium label uses those "reflection" posters for their steelbook :yuck:

@Flloydo Which one you preferring btw?
I’m preferring the wolverine variant but I do like both. I feel like if I go for one it should be the deadpool version as it’s technically his third film but yeah I really like both. You?

Anyone plan to buy both and swap the back plates around? Obviously the back and one side of the interior would be upside down, but it'd still look much cooler IMO, and it's not like flip steels don't exist officially anyway. Then you just need to find some sucker who will buy a steelbook using only the logo back arts as a single steel lol.

Pretty much feel exactly the same at the moment I think... preferring Wolverine slightly more, but Deadpool makes more sense, like you say.

@Noodles also rare the steel(s) look better than the standard 4K release. Not that it’s bad, still quite cool, but the steels are better this time around

My plan is to buy both and swap the Wolverine back plate with the Deadpool one. That way I have Wolverine on the front, Deadpool's symbol on the back, and both of the interior artworks.
