Come get some. Really, that’s all you need to know, as Bruce Campbell returns as Ash in Evil Dead: The Game. The trailer features the iconic recap from Army of Darkness, with Ash showing up with chainsaw hand in tow. Hail to the king, baby!
The game will feature co-op and PvP action, and looks to include not only Bruce Campbell’s Ash but also Dana DeLorenzo‘s Kelly Maxwell from the Starz series “Ash vs. Evil Dead”, Marcus Gilbert‘s Arthur from Army of Darkness, Richard DeManincor‘s Scotty from The Evil Dead, and even Ash’s cameo-hungry 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale.
We can only hope this means we’re getting maps based on the various Evil Dead projects as well, and we also hope they’ve found a way to bring Evil Dead 2013 into the mix. For now, it’s pretty awesome to see that characters from the first three movies are included in the game, and that “Ash vs. Evil Dead” is going to be represented right alongside them.
Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive (World War Z!) are behind the title, which will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2021.
