I can honestly say the Pin is very high quality.

I may or may not have been a sneaky ninja and got one before NYCC. I was wearing it all weekend, got compliments on it and it is sturdy. I'm usually cautious about wearing pins I really like at con in case they break or fall off, but this one is sturdy and didn't scratch.
