I often find that with Sandra Bullocks roles tbh but the amount of people that said it was good convinced me I need to see it. Only thing I remotely liked her in was Demolition Man... and that's only because her annoying nit-picky irritating uptight character is a good & necessary contrast to Stallones stoic retro vibe.
She was perfectly cast.
oh boy, it was quite the experience in cinema. the tension and anxiety created will never be forgotten. loved it.
They re-released it recently in the cinema for the 10th anniversary in UK... couldn't make it unfortunately despite having it booked... so maybe for the 15th! I've heard it needs to be seen on the big screen, just as you've described!
