For my birthday today my mother took me to #pompanosseafoodhouse and we went during Happy Hour and got a dozen half price oysters on the half shell and I got a Tuesday & Wednesday special of 5 Lbs of boiled crawfish (very messy) and my mother got 1 Lb of boiled shrimp. We shared the shrimp but she wouldn't touch the crawfish, she thinks their creepy.

All in all the restaurant was great, the food was awesome.

I found a great recipe for homemade Jambalaya so I made a whole pot of it. Made it extra spicy and WOW, this stuff is delicious! I just love Cajun food!
