I could even be persuaded to purchase the Blu +slip if the slip is pristine.

IMO, they are cheap enough to buy with the Blurays. Even if you end up finding someone that's selling the slip alone, it will be at least $5.
And if you end up with an extra Bluray copy of the movie then you can either sell it locally/online for couple of pounds or even give them away during Ninja Week here
