Annoying because again I do like the art. But that finish ffs. It just don’t pop like it could’ve potentially done. Goodfellas 100% going back but I’m on the fence with this one purely on the art. Finish is absolute w@nk. No spine slash on this one like Goodfellas which is a plus lol

I don’t have it in hand but because it had spot glossing the matte should be a tad better than the plain matte ones. So maybe it’s still streaky but maybe less so than the rest? That’s how it should work anyway

I have to disagree. I think you're confusing it with the pattern that scanavo Denmark seem to make as part of the gloss print. There's like a pastel vertical pattern to it recently. The matte is on top of that. That's all it is. There's no actual bacon streaks.

Tell the studios to do better. The studio even asked for feedback on the bigger sets and instead ignored it, made steels and made them sh!t when they know what a good finish does to steels. Blame them, not us

Doesn't matter if it's a Steelbook, a slipcase, a book, a sofa, a TV, a Dog, a Cat or flipping toilet brush - you pay for a good level of quality service & quality product, we should damn well get it.

The money can now be spent on the decent sets from Universal, and a premium or two.

Shame about the poor finish but that art still looks great on a steelbook regardless. Received my copy from Vice Press yesterday (their packaging is exceptional!) With the poster due on Monday

This looks most suitable art out of what's been released so far , despite of Matte finish it looks fine on pics. 2001 has a good spot gloss, but rest have been dismal. I had only ordered jaws and blade runner from the range and those were cancelled by amazon without notice, so hoping somewhere these come back in stock.

I been looking out for this one since i missed it originally from zavvi I got the others east enough but this was gone before I got the chance and then I place order from Amazon and even they canceled and I was very curious will I ever see this one pop up again on zavvi but I see I missed it ages ago now which sucks.

LOL. This art never really lit my sensibilities on fire, but that box set was so sweet I did have to get that. And hey...it's amazing and I love it. So there you go. Sometimes the Steel isn't the best option.
