This edition seems to be a bit disappointing, especially in its packaging, whilst the steelbooks turned out fantastic.

Totally agree. Received my copies this week and am very disappointed about the packaging which is flimsy as @#%$ and the cards are double sided

The cards being double sided was known from the beginning. I can understand that being an issue for those who would like to frame them.

To make matters worse, the same cards in the US editions reportedly have a glossy finish, while the ones in this UK edition don't.

In the US the cards come both with the Walmart Steelbook and the Collector's Edition.

In either case, cards are also double sided. But since you'll have two sets of cards you'll be fine then
