Don't get me wrong, i wanted them but taking payment a week before they are out is mean. A day before i can understand but a week...... Sneaky and not nice but yep you have the right idea.
Taking payment a week before is pretty incredibly common. I always expect payment to be taken anything upto a week before.
Both turned up today, nice enough with spot gloss. Slips are as expected, sticker logos on front and printed spine and back.
After looking at the pictures on eBay I’m glad I imported from the US Lionsgate Limited site. Don’t like those ugly ratings on the spine.
but you have the ugly lionsgate limited banners directly on the front, which are a worse offense imo.. uk front is super nice and clean without those

Heck, we've grown up with ratings logos for four decades. Nothing to see here. I barely register them anymore. Would it be nicer without? Of course.
Plus over the last 7-8 years, getting half logos as stickers that are now totally removable is a major, major win.

I've never had an issue with ratings logos, personally so I've never understood what all the fuss is about...

Yeah UK ratings never bothered me either... if anything they're a nice link on UK physical media back through to VHS... they are just a reminder of wanting to watch Terminator as a 9 year old and then feeling cool because it was an 18 lol. More nostalgic than anything. Also collectors can be sure they're UK origin etc. Like @TheWildEye says mostly stickers now anyway.

My Kill Bills are out for delivery but the Jackie Brown was really nice. Super vibrant.
Yeah, that's what I was referring to haha. Still curious about this, what did it smell like? Mine's coming this morning so I'm going to have a whiff.
