Watched this last night and absolutely f**king loved it from start to finish. Insanely good visuals too
I watched it the other night and found the first half to be rather slow. I still gave it 3 Ninjas because when it did pick up, it picked up big time. Given its a Planet of the Apes movie, it will get another viewing soon, so maybe my perspective will change.

My pictures aren’t really doing it justice. Not great light today but yeah it’s nice in hand and a really decent amount of spot gloss. As long as I can capture the finish then I don’t mind because that’s mainly why I take them if the steel has a decent one
Mine just arrived I'll see if my lighting is any better but good lighting is always a problem for me too. In summer I have about a 3 hour window, not sure about now.
Sun has made an appearance so tried to get a clearer shot of the front and with the J card
It played fine, but each new chapter it brought up the timeline at the bottom of the screen, which was a bit distracting. But I turned off the player (UB9000) and back on again, then it was fine. No other issues.
Thanks. It's probably just my player then (also ub9000), it's been a bit temperamental recently. Played fine on my old ub700, so I know it's not the disc, I just wanted to check if it was a widespread ub820/9000 issue or if it was just mine.
My sony does that sometimes and I am not 100% sure on the exact sequence that causes it. Usually when I have to stop and go into the menus to toggle DV. I don't know if it works on the panasonic but I just press the info button on and off and it stops doing it.

I need your help, I purchased this through zavvi and arrived damaged. I already sent pictures to them and they want me to pay for shipping. They are really a pain when it comes to get a refund.

Do you live in the UK? If so you can take it to hmv if you are local. They will replace or give store credit but won't refund an online purchase in store.
