I must say I am a little disappointed with my full slip, it has light scratches all over the front and back. One of which is worse than others. Has anybody else has this issue? I also only received two Manta Lab exclusive stickers...

Apart from the above I am blown away with the packages, I must say my favourite out of the three has got to be the Lenticular Magnet!

Seems like there are alot of defects on this release. Scratches and dings on both slips and steelbook, painchips, missing stickers...Hmm. Im afraid mine is going to be molested too.

Hi guys,

my Full Slip has arrived yesterday, today I picked up the package at my local post office.

I can only echo what the others said before, it's a great first release for a new company. I'm really happy with both the Full Slip and the steelbook. The latter being even more impressive in my own hands than seeing all the beautiful pictures in recent posts.
However, there're some issues. They don't mean the end of the world and I'll not take any action because of them. Still, here they are, just to show what I'm referring to:



Pic 1 & 2: Dents in the Full Slip spine and front (top left corner).
Pic 3 & 4: Scratch in the steelbook spine + damaged paint job (dark spot, hardly visible in the picture).
Pic 5, 6 & 7: Paint chip in the border embossing (white spot) + strange print lines; especially noteworthy: the line coming horizontally to/from Superman's shoulder. There're four of these in total, varying in length (but not visibility).
Pic 8 & 9: Dent and finish/paint job nose on the front and back side of the steelbook.
Pic 10: Some of the character cards look much older than they really are.

Unfortunately my steelbook copy sports my most dreaded fault in ... well ... steelbooks: an off-centered print at the spine (see pic 4, especially the studio and Blu-Ray logos). I really hate that. It's not Manta's fault of course, I just added it for the sake of completeness.

Don't get me wrong, please. I'm not hating on Manta. In fact, it's quite the opposite (as explained above). But these are some issues they need to address in the upcoming release(s) if they want to compete with other Asian retailers.

Please also note: It might seem picky, but most of the flaws don't show well in (my) photographs but in real life even more so.

Again, I'm very fond of this edition and now am looking forward to The Revenant.

@Aniv Thanks for hosting the GB, I picked up my copy today and I think it's great. Mine has a couple of tiny chips, scuffs and blemishes but they're all very minor and markedly less bothersome than the issues with the last few steelbooks I've purchased. Overall I'm happy. Sorry to hear others are receiving copies with more severe defects!

Would you consider this long? With German customs it can easily be held up two weeks and then just arrive on your doorstep without custom charges

Not gonna open it because I got this movie so many times but the lenti looks really good.
The only thing I don't like is the sticker on the polybag. I really hope Manta doesn't do that for their next release!!

The sticker comes off relatively easily and then you can stick it wherever the hell you want.
