It's the same as the US variant that was released a year ago.
The artwork makes sense, since they basically just put a bunch of items from the movie on the front cover.
But I agree with @mkdfan though, the alternative artwork would have been a better choice it just looks a lot better

It certainly looks better in that video. What I don’t like is the white glow around Matilda. It reminds me of my early photoshop days when I would put a glow around every damn thing lol. Now I think it just makes things look cheap. I love the movie but I think I’ll wait to see if if the price drops eventually. If it sells out I won’t be too worried though.

Possibly the only Matilda steelbook we could get so will have to get it, could’ve done with a title though
