I may have to look away at the really gross bits though.
There aren't any, except for a poor pigeon maybe.

Are there any cool parts where he uses his powers to get people? I know you see wolves at some part.
No, he just stands/floats and speaks in eastern-european accent, like a Ukrainian cossack.
Wolves chase a character out of the room once for 3 seconds.
It's nothing like Coppola's Dracula, if you're expecting similar...

The story is very similar though. Did you enjoy it?

Yes, surprisingly I did. Especially liked Willem Dafoe's part, when his character finally appears halfway through, the movie becomes more alive, to coin a phrase. The sets and street scenes, albeit very short, are all excellent with the dirt, hustlers, sellers, bums, and later the crooked dead bodies and crazy preachers - making you want to pause and examine everything closer, the detail is great and it feels like a real living world/city. But the main actress is bland, and I especially wonder how much better Anya Taylor-Joy would've been here.

Is there a rumoured release date for this yet for EU/UK, now the US version is out?

Go on...it's going to be the end March right.

Without these release dates it's getting more difficult to budget. Quite a few missing dates

Well, Germany is April 3rd and Australia is March 26th, so, yeah, I'd probably say March 31st is about right

Surely you knew this is for around March April when you pre ordered? Same as sonic 3

3 months . Standard

Wish it was still. I don't think 3 months is standard so much really any more. Stuff gets dated or changed almost all the time now. I was just hoping this would drop in April/May. March is beyond ridiculous with releases now. I'll have to skip some of the ones still in stock if those undated ones continue to stack in March. At some point even generous budgets start to crack. No matter how you juggle them, at the end of the month you don't really want to be chasing your financial tail for the rest of the year. I'm sure there's a bucket load of stuff coming just around the corner too.:wacky::smuggrin:

When a film comes out at the cinema it takes 3 - 4 months to get a physical release. This (and another example is sonic 3) came out about a week apart and the steels went up for pre order not long after meaning the release dates will be March - April. That’s always the case. Always has been. The only difference with Disney (since covid) in particular is they put them up for pre order a month before release however the release date is still 3-4 months from the cinematic release therefore no one should be shocked when things like Moana 2, mufusa and captain America brave new world are released a month after the steelbooks go up for pre order. If you budget your collectible spending each month like I do then you should be taking in to account the films you like, when they come out and then when they get a physical release.

One of the big date changes recently has been lower decks which is annoying because it was originally May for the U.K. but it’s a tv series plus the rest of the world was getting it 2 months earlier than us so was clearly an error in the U.K. date. Other than that most date changes have been a week or 2 within the same month with some collectible sets being delayed longer (inception etc)

I think my spending and collecting is different to yours. I'm a relatively new collector in comparison to a seasoned one such as yourself. I'm still 50/50 new to old releases at the moment and probably will be for a few more years.

Amadeus/Inception/Yojimbo+Sanjuro Bfi/ Lower Decks. Close to £200 in total
I'm sure there are more examples but I can't be arsed to find.
They all got amended late or dates changed and added to March. Some were pre ordered as you know from many months ago, some later on. That's a lot of extra on top.

Now most probably Nosferatu too. I'm pretty sure Pale Rider, Josey Wales and Dirty Harry's will most likely drop all together as well. If not end of March then very early April.
I budget extremely well. It works well for me and rarely fails. But March is a joke now and I work off a healthy budget set aside.
All those mentioned above as well as Two Finchers, two Kubrick's, the Three Tarantinos in March and these are just the steels.

Publishers and distributors might find it beneficial to collaborate on their release timetable sometimes.

Not going to bother with this one. Keeping the order in case we somehow get an amazing finish but the plan is to send back.
You just know that Universal are going to release a collectors edition down the road.
