Artwork on this new wave is using opening credit image of the film

The same was done with the Blu-ray steelbook releases from 2015 that got a release in UK and other countries

Wonder how long Zavvi will have these on their hands before they starting selling them for half price. Even then I would pay half price they so crap

Considering the first wave sold out, and I imagine there's a lot of people hoping to complete the collection, I doubt they'll drop in price even if it takes a while for them to sell out.
I did buy You Only Live Twice and regretted not buying Casino Royale but I was disappointed when the first set was released

If you were disappointed with the first set, I can't imagine you are happy about these. No 007 emblems on the front, no back artwork or even different colors on the back, and the Dr No one is just the laziest steelbook I have ever seen. And after saying that, they will all be in my collection, because they are still Bond steelbooks.

That’s just the thing - you’re (rightfully) moaning about how awful these are, yet are STILL willing to buy them?!

This sort of behaviour gives those releasing these messes every right to release them as they know they can fleece people like you who will pay good money for something you admit you don’t like..

Sorry, can't help myself it has been 7 years since the last wave. Almost given up on MGM. So far it is this or nothing. For me this beats nothing (at least they are unique, at least the front).

The first wave absolutely blows these out of the water. High quality original artwork inspired by the credits sequences, full gloss, 007 above the titles.. just a million miles better. This doesn't even count as the same wave.

Just wait when these all end up matte. After all they are all European releases so far, so that has been the trend this year. Agree I also liked the first wave.

What does Eon Productions stand for?

Wilson, who are the current producers of the James Bond films. Up until his death, Albert R. Broccoli had always denied that "EON" stood for anything specifically, but stories by people close to Broccoli and Saltzman say it stands for "Everything Or Nothing."

Nice, I remember that was the name of the documentary. Forgot that EON stood for that as well. Add that to the James Bond trivia.
