Well, well, well,

Now I've finally gotten around to photographing the PEARL mediabook.
I got Cover B:

The front is wonderfully colorful, the red is almost glowing, the pearly white title shines.

No wonder: both the title and several elements (blood splatters) are have spot gloss finish.

The (removable) tech sheet is just as colorful.

The back side without the tech sheet.

Again, the fork and blood splatters have spot gloss effects.

The inside. The booklet (in German) is of Toby Hohmann's usual high writing quality.

Here an example.

Part 2: Turbine + Capelight
One thing that has to be pointed out: the continuity with the Capelight mediabook release is excellent with cover B, at least as far as the front is concerned. The geometry of the "X" motif is very similar.

There is also continuity in terms of finish with spot gloss effects used on both mediabooks.

What doesn't quite fit are the spines. But these are two different labels, two different studios, two different corporate identities plus the necessary requirements from the studios. So there was very little chance of the spines matching too closely, anyway.

Yes, I even went ahead and purchased that cover of X as well, having previously bought only the 'legs' version...

Now we have to wait for Maxxxine to maybe get a matching mediabook...
