Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F

3.5 out of 5.

Watched it last night after rewatching the first 3 over the last couple of days.

I enjoyed it. Just like old times.

It's a lot more like the first 2 movies with a few similar scenes and uses 3 of the same songs but that's OK by me. Not at all like the third movie which as we all know sucked.

This one definitely makes up for the third one.

KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Okay. So.... I'll admit going in that I was ape over this movie given the killer trailers I'd seen. That anticipation was aided by my love of this franchise from childhood. I was 7 years old when it all began, and have loved every installment. Heck, even the TV show. I just can't get enough of it.

That said, I have to admit that for a vast portion of this film I was wondering if anything was ever really going to happen. It almost seemed like a drama to me. THANKFULLY, things started kicking into gear and the movie really took off. Still, even though I can say at the end of the day that I liked it more than not, it isn't the slam bang Planet of the Apes movie I was looking forward to. I'll have to watch it again now that I know how things hash out to see if my feelings are the same, but as of now, I can only give this......

GODZILLA VS KONG: THE NEW KINGDOM

Just as I was pumped about Kingdom of the PLanet of the Apes and let down, I was apprehensive about GVKNK.

It didn't take but about 10 minutes to ease my pain and put me on a running non stop joy ride of Titan love! This movie blew my mind in the most excellent ways! Story, acting, cgi, action, suspense all top notch, man.

So many things I'd love to mention but I won't spoil it for you. What I will do is highly encourage you to see this most excellent Godzilla/Kong movie.

I will definitely be watching this bad boy again!!!

Those movie earned itself....

Alien: Romulus

Fede Alvarez managed to pick all the best parts of the Alien franchise and combine it into one, this was made by someone who is a true fan and knows what the fans wanted to see!
Hopefully Alvarez will continue to make more Alien movies, my theater was completely full not 1 seat left and this was at 1PM.
Gonna watch it again tomorrow at 9PM in theaters which I'm sure will be filled as well 10/10 for me:thanks:

Does it follow the events of the Covenant ?

Does it follow the events of the Covenant ?
no the whole movie takes place after the first Alien movie or around that time its, because the design is very reminiscent of Alien 1979.
The director took the best parts of all the alien movies and put them in one, for example near the end he took a disturbing scene from Prometheus but he changed it up
Spoiler alert, there is no surgery machine to help this time, not gonna say anything else:sick: I think everyone felt queasy seeing it
Its very suspenseful it reminded me alot of Alien Isolation the game, dont know if you ever played it but it's very much like that, if you loved the first alien and Alien Isolation then you wont be dissapointed
I would easily put Alien Romulus as the Third best Alien movie of the entire franchise
