Update FA just received
Dear Collectors,
we would like to inform you about the May's news.
We are finishing up FAC #167 TENET next week, and then we'll gradually move on to finishing the other titles in order. We are sorry for the delay, but the last batches of lenticular lenses did not meet our standard quality, so we needed to find suitable material again in cooperation with our printer. Which it did. We will update the release dates of the next editions on our site once we have received updated disc supply data.
Today and tomorrow we will also start introducing individual editions for the next round of pre-orders that we will launch next week. In this round you can look forward to the titles:
1) NOBODY
2) HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
3) REMINISCENCE
4) SCOTT PILGRIM vs. World
5) I AM A LEGEND
Another interesting title that we submitted for approval to Warner Bros studio is AMERICAN SNIPER. This will be a loyalty reward for our most loyal collectors. We will announce the conditions for obtaining it in further updates.
As for the PREDATOR title, we are still waiting for confirmation that the update has been approved. Please keep your fingers crossed.

You never know what will sell and what won't, really. I didn't expect to see any Forrest Gump copies left but the blue box is still for sale last time I checked.
I dug Reminiscence. I think the film will become one of those revered cult classics in a few years. It's actually a pretty good film in and of itself and I loved the post-apocalyptic flooded Miami setting. Can someone answer this: I can't Preorder this until September, correct? The Google translate function doesn't always work properly for me for some reason.

I ordered a copy directly from FilmArena and apparently it's released but they still haven't shipped. I keep getting emails from them (now approximating every 3 days) that are just the same useless emails as before but with a "Registered" in the Order Status (Availability) box. What does that even mean? Why are they beating around the bush? Also looks like it's sold out on their site but copies are still orderable here via GB. Dunno but it seems like the Premium Steelbook era is over as I'm not seeing any buzz from the big boys anymore.. CineMuseum is the new player but they're a joke. None of their titles can actually be purchased by anyone except bots.
80€ (+ shipping) for a WWA matte steelbook, paper and a lenticular magnet stuck on it... and as usual, unable to meet deadlines. I'm amazed this company is still in the running.
It’s not just Film Arena… Steelbook collecting has been pretty poor for the last couple of years… standard 4K steelbooks with at best average art now retailing at £35.
Premium retailers repacking standard steelbooks at premium prices. Disney, China and even the U.K. affecting movie releases… no release of the The Abyss 4K in the U.K. disc less premiums, delay after delay but taking orders and payment for additional future releases.
I used to love HDZeta, Blufans and Film Arena but with the price increases, payment up front and release delays… announcements and the nothing (HDZeta Terminator 2, Film Arena Aliens, Planet of the Apes etc, Blufans Top Gun, Star Wars etc) I am seriously loosing interest in collecting
