Amazon took payment earlier today so expecting this to arrive tomorrow

Received both the steelbook and limited editions from Arrow direct yesterday, i wanted the steelbook but also the epanded booklet, I was well and truely played

Both great sets though, and Robocop with the originaal poster art on a steelbook was a must of course, nice to see some gloss on an Arrow steelbook too, pretty rare occurance (I like the Arrow matte steelbooks anyway)

Got a dent (on the rear) under the info sheet (which shows no damage) and the booklet inside the steel is torn.

Pretty poor quality checking from Arrow in this particular instance.

There isn't any quality checking. SteelBooks are made and shipped. Nobody is going to take the time to inspect 4000 or 10000 or whatever number copies of a SteelBook are made of each title. It's a low cost item.

Let the buyer decide what is or isn't damaged. Many buyers decide to keep flawed steelbooks that include scratches, paint chips and dents. Including some members here even when it comes to premium editions.

There are quality checks on the steels but it’s more like spot checking. Also greater checking at beginning. But overall right about lil things like dings etc as can happen after leaves factory etc.

Spine slashes do not happen when made instead when making to 2nd or 3rd location. Known by whether the slash is under the shrink wrap or through it.

things like discs and booklets etc are put in at replicator level.

like how some say “assembled In Mexico” etc
