I want to buy a cheap 5.1 setup for my PS4, I've done some research and found out that if I use my 3.5mm output through my tv to the speakers I'll only get stereo sound and if I use 3 various cables I can use optical output from my PS4 to the speakers with a digital to analogue converter which can make the speakers surround sound but not proper 5.1 (someone like just the same sound as 2 speakers and the sub but mirrored to the other 2 speakers so none are silent). What I am thinking is buying the Logitech speakers for cheap, using it through my 3.55mm output on my tv while I look for a cheap audio receiver system with optical in, will this let me achieve true 5.1?? Sorry if this is an obvious answer im not a big audiophile, thanks for your help guys!
