Oof, last time I ordered it was $50 for the cheap option and $90 for the express.
Yeah this was the express shipping, but I think it defaulted to that and that's never happened to me when ordering before. I did actually click back just before I paid as it just caught my eye and it looked insane, but I couldn't see an option to change it, and of course was all too aware that if I wasted more time looking I might miss out, so I just placed the order. I'm guessing that the extra weight or size of the box means that maybe you only get that option. I could be wrong though as I only got a microsecond to look in the checkout area.

Lovely, I could have gotten mine too if the postman cared to ring the bell instead of presuming I wasn't there and brining the package back to the postal office. Dunno if they act like this in other countries too...
In the USA, they never knock, but generally leave it on the doorstep. I’m not sure when the USPS, UPS and FedEx decided knocking on the door/ringing the bell was too much work, but it is annoying.

It used to be mandatory for us to knock/ring but then they decided that was taking too much time so we don't have to do it anymore.

Duly noted. AP was my first introduction into the Manta game so I wasn't in the know. Thanks for clarifying.
No probs. It's usually obvious, but I can understand why it wasn't with that one. They have a rare few more artistic OCs (like AP, First Man, Drive) with specifically designed jackets on top of the OC box, but typically it's just the box in the protector.

I don’t really care if the guy waits for me, but ringing the bell means that if someone is home, they’ll immediately get the package off the porch. It’s especially helpful when a package comes later in the day. ‍♂️
