We’re feeling the force with our newest print from Gabz, Mace Windu!

Gabz has been creating hyper detailed portraits for as long as we’ve known him, and we’re happy to announce the beginning of a new series of Star Wars portraits, beginning with one of the best parts of the prequel trilogy, Mace Windu! Mace’s portrayal by Sam Jackson was pitch perfect, and Gabz has put in painstaking time and effort to ensure both Mace’s appearance and attitude are on display--including a nice nod to Mace’s purple lightsaber!

Our Gabz’ Star Wars Portrait series turns to the Dark Side with Count Dooku!

The Star Wars prequel trilogy is peppered with intriguing lore and characters, and Christopher Lee’s portrayal as a former Jedi Master turned to the Dark Side is one of many highlights. Gabz has captured Dooku’s stern and weathered, yet still somewhat regal, visage, with some brilliant texture work mixed in.

The Gabz Star Wars Portrait series begins anew in 2022 with portraits of Lando Calrissian and Orson Callan Krennic.

What’s cooler than cool? Billy Dee Williams’ iconic work as Star Wars’ Lando! Lando’s character arc is ingrained in our brains at this point, but one of the coolest aspects of the character was his bounty hunter helmet. Gabz’ portrait highlights the super stylized Tantel armor Lando dons, and showcases a masterfully drawn Lando we’ve rarely seen referenced in pop culture prints!

We love Ben Mendelsohn, in general, and in every role, and we’re giddy over Gabz choosing to create a portrait of Krennic. Krennic’s characterization in Rogue One makes him one of the more memorable Empire officers, especially because of his willingness to get his hands dirty in combat. Gabz’ portrait of the proud and volatile character nails both Krennic’s look and overall demeanor!

Gabz’ newest Star Wars portraits, part of our ongoing series, are two familiar faces that we adore–Kylo Ren and Jyn Erso. Both characters have intense motivations, and both represent opposite sides of long-fought intergalactic war. Gabz’ Jyn portrait feels hopeful, for the future, despite her ultimate fate, while Gabz’ Kylo is beaten and scarred, and willing to sacrifice everything. We’re closing out the week with a simple theme: Space! Oh, and aliens.

Chris Valentine returns to the Prequel Trilogy with a brand new print for Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Chris’ poster for Episode II offers a collage of the characters, memorable scenes, and lore that helps us remember what we love about Star Wars films. All of Chris’ prints start as paintings, and his color work is fascinating, especially around the many lightsabers.

Gabz’ Star Wars portrait series has been both a deep dive into the Star Wars universe and Gabz’ mind. Gabz’ portraits evoke a mood and project their subjects’ unique demeanor skillfully, and we’re happy that Chirrut Imwe and a Gamorrean Guard have their time to shine through this print series.

Zeb Love celebrates “crappy punk rock” with his newest art print, Guardian Angels, based on his gig posters for Blink-182’s recent worldwide tour. Zeb’s print features a ragtag group of space cadets trying to keep the adorable blue bunny population from being abducted by aliens. Zeb’s print plays with a lot of Blink’s themes, and we’re excited to be able to offer an art print version of this art!
