Hello and welcome to our new HDN STEELBOOK Marketplace!

Q: What is this forum for?
A: Tired of going back and forth with members or potential buyers? Then you can list your items here, and get paid immediately with a few quick steps!

Q: How do I purchase something?
A: That's easy, just choose the buy now button on the right hand side!

Q: Who can sell in this forum?
A: Anyone that has 20 (TWENTY) posts or more. As always, we reserve the right to not APPROVE your listing if it appears you have low feedback or no trading interactions in this forum.

Q: What does it cost to sell here?
A: It's absolutely FREE for now! If we see this becomes a popular destination for members, we'll evaluate later.

Q: What do I need to do to create a listing?
A: It's simple.

Fill out each of our fields.

1) Do you accept any offer below your current price? Yes or No

2) Show your price inside of the thread - add a whole number here

3) What type of edition is your item? Lenti, full slip, choose the correct one.

4) Did you get your item from a retailer? Choose the right one.

5) What condition is your item in? Not sure which to pick? Read our handy condition guide -
https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/hidefninja-steelbook™-item-quality-guidelines-for-trades-sales.20207/

6) Make sure to add photos or anything else helpful to the description of your item that might interest people in buying it.

7) Choose "Create a Sale"

a) After clicking this section, fill out your personal details (choose YOUR CURRENCY and price! along with the e-mail attached to your paypal account!)

And now you can post your thread!

Q: How do I edit my price or details about my listing?
A: You can't edit your post, but you have to choose the Manage Sale option.

Q: How can I accept a "Best Offer" price?
A: Depending on your preference, continue your conversation via PM or on your listing (it's a discussion thread after all!) Then when you and the buyer agree, go back to your listing, choose the manage sale option and change the price or have the buyer send you the funds directly and remove your item from sale.

Q: What should I do when I'm finished with my listing?
A: Change the title to "SOLD" or "REMOVED" and make sure your quantity shows zero!

Q: How long is a listing good for?
A: We'll look to have you resubmit your listing every 30 days (this can be adjusted if we need to bump it up).

Q: How do I narrow down the listings? There's a lot of them!
A: Use our new filter feature on the left hand side of this forum. Choose the retailer, the condition, or anything else you are looking to narrow down your search on.

Approved, I was away for the afternoon
No worries at all! It wasn't meant an impatient call out lol. I was more perplexed as to why they vanished from my view. The first couple I've done they've always been visible to me (the author) even before manually approved by yourself, etc. This time it was different I think but no problem. Thanks Andy

Is this forum only for premium editions of steelbooks (like Blufans, etc...) or are all steelbooks fair game?

Can I advertise for a future sale in my listing? Like putting a note saying "I will be selling xyz soon so keep an eye out".

No future sales, you need to be able to sell it immediately.

You can list just about any steelbook here.

Great idea this thread
Just a few thoughts. When an item is listed, the cost is presented default in the thread. Ex.:IMG_1945.jpg

When it's sold the number is replaced with SOLD.....on some adds. On some not, for some it's only visible if one clicks on the add...OUT OF STOCK.

And wouldn't it be an idea to remove all sold listings to a separate thread.

The search function doesn't work for me. It's not that what I'm looking for isn't available, I've tried searching something that is obviously there and still I get 0 hits.

Filter or search? You quoted my comment of the filter and it seems to be working fine.

For example, I click "best offer" no and then the button and I get all the listings that don't accept the best offer.

If you are using the search feature, that's going to operate differently.

The filter. I also just filtered by "best offer accepted", I clicked yes, then filter and I got nothing.

I tried it again just to make sure, and nothing. But I can clearly see, when I don't use the filter function, that the current last three messages accept a best offer.

Try a different browser? Run via incognito mode? Clear your cache? Hard to say what the problem is if it's your local machine.

Same thing on Opera. Both browsers are up to date.
Everything else works fine.

I'll check on phone.

And the same on the phone, it's an iPhone running Safari if that makes a difference.

I can try a tablet but not right now, three rejections is all I can take for today.

Interesting. I just tried it too. When I try "yes" for best offer, nothing shows, but when I do "no" it works fine.

I had some ads pending today, and when I refreshed the page just now it looks like they've disappeared altogether?

I took me ages to get them sorted and all!! :dizzy:

What if you only ship within the USA? is there a field for that?

When you set your price, you can choose whether to include shipping or not, and whether the shipping included is within the US only or internationally. You can clarify those details in your listing when posting.
