Noted this film for myself, as something to definitely see, when it came out, bought a Blu-ray sight unseen almost ten years ago, yet only today finally watched it. More than 15 years later!
Crazy to realize how much time has passed, especially if one thinks in terms of one's own years - if I were to watch a film in the middle of the 90's, as a teenager, it'd be from 1981! Yet that's the least amount of years you have to go back now, to get to see such a cast ensemble, before they all got older, fatter, depressed, or stopped appearing in anything good or anything at all. Such a joy to see all these actors, especially Andy Garcia, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Brendan Fraser, who get the most screen time.
It's not quite Magnolia, but it's that type of movie, so if you're interested in intertwined stories, and missed this one, I recommend you revisit it.
