Still went quick, but snails pace compared to the first. I've always preferred the first film, but people bleet on about part 2. Evidently the consensus is to the contrary. DLB secured easily.

They've got godzilla kom down for September 30th as well. There's probably an error going on there somewhere.

Paramount is probably being pushy and it’s even confusing them and their calendar.

Fox was like this. That’s why War or the planet of the apes was released. They pushed it right at the end of that year before their merger with Disney

Wouldn’t be surprised if part 3 is after the next pre order and all 3 will be ready to go around the same time. They most likely planned all 3 and got all the art approved around the same time but need another release in between them so it’s not just godfather for 3 pre orders straight. Tbh I’m surprised Manta didn’t start with part 3!

They seem to have a more chilled relationship with WB and Sony anyway imo. Paramount just seem pushy to me. I get the impression they say what titles are released and not much choice is involved. And WB have a catalogue of everything and say “yeah basically release what you want” lol. But that’s just how it seems to me. Just an assumption

Either that or shining or mad max. But then it could be Sony with the other Garfield spidey.

Tbh im hoping the godfathers have knocked a few of their schedule this year because it was at 16 already over 12 months and that’s just silly now. Add another 3 and they will reach new levels of ridiculousness. Cancel crow. Move Django to whenever the 4K is ready. That leaves spidey 1, fury road, F1, superman, shining and Mickey 17. Maybe leave fury road until next year so then that at least leaves 3 new films and 3 catalogue titles for the rest of the year
