I honestly don't understand your point here and why this particular topic for this film triggers such a vitriolic response. There is no defintion for what a holy grail is or which item deserves to be expensive and which doesn't passt the hatredhorror test. I'm just comparing the trajectory of this particular release with similar releases of a similar release date: Things like "Her" Kimchi, "Eternal Sunshine" Kimchi, "Oldboy" (Plain Archive), "I saw the Devil" Plain archive are all "popular arthouse movies" and the steelbook editions are nice and they are rare, but you can ALWAYS find copies, sometimes even in auctions, where you get them for great prices. I'm talking about NOW and maybe over the last 1-2 years. The Handmaiden (all edtions, but you see the occasional 1/4 slip and FullSlip B pop up) is a different beast and I cannot remember the last "cheap" copy that sold on eBay and Full Slip A has actually sold for $400 and that wasn't even sealed. I asked wdpung a while back for one and he did what he usually does, which is saying he will check the secondary market in Korea and THEN has copies available with a high markup quickly. He got me FullSlip B for a somewhat fair price indeed, but never mentioned FullSlip A again, until he suddenly
put one up on his website for $900!!!
I'm not quite sure what we are areguing about. If this item is not rare/hard to find/expensive - cool, where are they though? If you find me an affordable copy of FS A, I'll pay you a nice finders fee and tell everbody on here I was super wrong and it's super easy to find and change my user name to CheLutzo1
