We get Looney with Hernan Carracedo and touch grass (and a deer) with Alex Hovey today!
Hernan’s set of Looney Tunes art features prints for two classic episodes, Bugs Bunny’s Bully for Bugs and Daffy Duck’s The Wizard. Both of these hilariously captivating episodes offer the best parts of both Bugs and Daffy’s characters, while also showcasing the brilliant writing and animating of the Looney Tunes team. Hernan’s prints feature Bugs and Daffy in their excellent episode specific costumes, and meld Hernan’s awesome art style with a Looney Tunes aesthetic.
We haven’t checked in on our old friend Hogarth in a while, so we’re stoked to revisit The Iron Giant with Alex. Alex’s print interprets one of the most touching scenes in the film, and features a handful of Easter eggs from throughout the movie. Alex’s warm color palette matches the tone of the scene, and we’re always excited to look back on Brad Bird’s animated masterpiece.
