Is this the standard retail packaging inside a fancy outer case? If it is then I'm not sure it's worth me getting as I already have the steelbooks.

Having said that I've ordered it on HMV with 20% off just in case it's something different.

Oh, if it's not a cardboard pages digibook, like Star Wars 1-6, Die Hard 1-4, and Indy 1-4, then there's no point buying this for the packaging.

Just watched an unboxing video on YouTube, this is a shameless exploitation of the fans, it's literally just a fake book (similar to the old Indiana Jones Blu-ray set) with a tray for the ring and chain then the standard 4k trilogy release beneath that.

they need to remaster as only one of the 3 actually look good.

Got mine today. Didn't open it yet because I have the steelbook box which I was hoping to maybe replace with this version. The 'book page' aesthetic on the 3 sides of the box set is completely misprinted in my copy, the pages stop around 2 cm before the edge of the box, in some unboxings of the first printing this was not the case. The front cover is also not exactly centered and there is a weird square-shaped bump on the front cover near the edge, I suppose there is something underneath causing this. Has anyone else ordered this and the same aesthetic issues? For this price this is just not okay, really thinking about returning my copy.

Honestly, I feel like these editions are not what they used to be. The DVD set was so insanely well made, not even mentioning the book shelf edition of the 6 movies. I never really loved the steelbook design, so they giving the fans this lackluster 'giftbox' without actual nice packaging inside and misprintings like this is just such a bummer.
