We’re possessed…by the spirit of great art, thanks to Yuko Higuchi and Creepy Duck!

We’ve been fans of Japanese artist Yuko Higuchi for years, thanks in part to seeing her phenomenal work alongside several killer A24 releases, including Midsommar, X, and even Marcel the Shell with Shoes on. Yuko’s work feels stringy, with intricate lines weaving tapestries of images that easily throttle between the nightmarish and the frighteningly cute. We’re proud to present Yuko’s first alternative movie poster through Bottleneck for The Exorcist! Focusing on the intense visage of Pazuzu, Yuko’s print is a horrifically cool portrait of the demonic fiend terrorizing Regan and her family in William Friedkin’s momentous film.

Speaking of firsts, we’re excited to release our first print with artist Creepy Duck! Creepy Duck’s poster and design work throughout the horror film industry caught our eye a little ways back, and we’ve brought the Irish artist to the sleepy town of Santa Carla for some blood-sucking shenanigans. CD’s alternative movie poster for The Lost Boys features the iconic sites from throughout the film all cleverly integrated into a vampire skull–how creepy!

Yuko and Creepy Duck’s prints will be available for purchase on Wednesday (1/15) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!

Finally some new artwork for The Lost Boys:scat:, I've seen rehashed art for years now.
Don't have any Creepy Duck's work yet, so this will be my first:thanks:

@Billy Talent did you get it today. There is truly a lot of art for some properties, do you think that causes some fatigue in the market?

have you gotten any of the BNG Acrylics yet?

Snagged it during the Pre sale, when I first got into collecting these posters I wasn't subscribed yet, so I missed out on a bunch because they sold out so quick during the general pre order,
After subbing I only missed out on 1 which was the Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back edition, that one sold out way faster than I expected, I hesitated and missed out.
It's the first edition I have seen getting sold out during pre sale, the general public didnt stand a chance :shipped:

No, so far no Acrylics yet, most of the time I see the releases I favor the cheaper editions, I like the design more.
I must really love a poster art for me to consider getting the expensive Acrylic edition

It's the same for Statue collectibles, Idk if you seen Prime 1 and Sideshow for the last 2 years, but they have been pumping out so many Batman's.
Collectors are getting tired of it, every single Prime 1 showcase they reveal yet another batman, so people lose interest in that type of release.

If BNG released 50 The Crow posters in a period 6 months, I doubt they would sell out, market value for them would drop as well

@Billy Talent yeah the pre-orders definitely help snagging. I've been buying a lot less recently, though I am still in a few commissions but fairly limited gallery buying lately.

I just think the combined releases from all the galleries makes people less involved and can see that translating from Statues and other fandoms as well. Even RSVLTs, who I've really begun to like, I have not been involved with that long but I see the same trend from Steelbooks, Posters, and Collectibles which is a bit more releases than I would overall like in the market for something I consider collectible.
