I'm so wary of predominantly black steelbooks because of those uggo matte streaks being everywhere lately. It shows up so much more on black or darker artwork.

I thought Farrell said that he doesn’t want to do it anymore because applying the SFX makeup is hell?
There's plenty of actors who've said they're done and after being pelted with enough buckets of cash changed their tune.

I hope they don't try for a second season though, I don't think they can top the first and the series worked so well establishing his character it made me more interested in seeing upcoming Reeves Batman sequels. The temptation to rush something out as a quick cash grab after a surprise success must be hard to resist...

I don't know that it really needs a sequel series tbh. It was great, but it just sets up how he'll appear in the next film. Maybe a 2nd season between batman part 2 and 3 could be needed, depending on how they intend to use him in the story.

While not directly Penguins arc the way they left Sofia is enough to warrant a new series of something that doesn't need to be touched on in the films

Agree. I'd like to see more of Sofia, which tbh doesn't need much more than the odd cameo from Penguin in a spin-off.

Fantastic miniseries! Great job by Warner Bros, it doesn't feel like most Disney+ tie-in TV shows (Andor and Loki aside obviously).

Pre-ordered this edition, given that for some reason the steelbook release in France isn't in 4K.

Can't seem to order this from Amazon. Shame as had a gift card I need to use. Is there a workaround or is it an error on Amazon's system?

I guess it's not available for pre-oder outside UK.
I get a "Sorry, the quantity you requested is no longer available. We updated your quantity to the maximum available." message, and the quantity is set to 0
