We saw The Terminator 4K restoration; how did it look?

The Terminator is the latest James Cameron film to undergo a major restoration, but it will be controversial.

With the AI-assisted transfer, Cameron made the movie look flawless...
That right there is where they lose all my attention and respect, for anything they have to say ever again.

Ffs here we go again.

I mean while I don't think the other Cameron "restorations" are nearly as bad as people make out, I would even argue they can look good. I mean ffs the last video I saw about it had the picture blown up 500% showing a piece of I think Vasques hair for 3 frames that looks a bit dodgy...

Anyway, Cameron needs to get over the fact that these movies are shot on film, that there is nothing wrong with film grain and that with our current technology trying to remove it actively harms the end result. Someone needs to take the editing rights away from this guy and just let a competent company do a proper 4k master.

Before I took an interest in film making, I didn't like film grain, but after learning what it was and the benefits of it being there and not scrubbed with DNR I'm a big fan of it.

James Cameron after screening THE TERMINATOR 10 years ago after being restored for blu ray.
Actually, James- today's movies aren't films anymore- they are videos.:naughty:

I saw it in the theater last week and it looked really good, maybe it was the giant screen but there was plenty of grain in it and I thought it looked absolutely amazing and the sound was incredible.... Then again I don't think the previous releases by Cameron look as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

No, but I was making emails up and when it came to trying a new one it just sent me to the T&C so it's obvious they were on to me. Nobody has that many friends :shipped:
So when you entered the fake email, did you get one of the "there's a delay processing your reward" pages, and then an email later on with the t&c's? That's been happening on-off for a long time now btw, so it's not just you dw :shipped:

I can remember seeing the delay message but I don't think I got anything by email. I'd just forget about it because it sounds like you've been caught.

Oh right. It was just an on screen pop up after trying to generate a new code? Yeah, that's been happening for a while too. They flag links for abuse etc.. and disable them.

mine is worse they blocked my card from making payments!
talked to them 3 times and they said there is nothing blocking your card talk to bank lol
but off topic

I have more codes than I need so PM me if you would like a couple.

Get back in your mums basement like JC says :naughty:
I've been living alone since 14, that guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm just appalled for the others who actually do still live with their parents due to his generation's part in creating such 'economy', and overall didn't expect him to join the 'Disney Club' of sassy libtards that turn any criticism around into personal insults.
