Ordered. Looks like they are working through all the classics for 4k. We have An inspector Calls as well so hopefully the likes of Ice Cold in Alex or Whiskey Galore won't be too far behind.

Love the film.
Hate the gimmicky box.
Price isn't bad considering The Conversation was like £60 with that stoopid tape cassette.

It'll be the same size as The Wicker Man one probably.

I mean it's cool. Far too gimmicky for me but I adore the film.
Will we get a 4k only release of this? I can hope.
I noticed that The Conversation 4k amaray has just been announced for mid November after the special edition came out in July was it?
Same happened with Paramount Collectors Editions with Once Upon a Time in the West and Chinatown. Single Amaray releases followed a month later.

StudioCanal do standard 4K amaray releases after the limited editions have been released.
It can vary when they do a standard release can be a 3-6 months later or lot longer

A standard 4K release can happen quicker sometimes if the limited edition has sold out.

You already have it announced for example in Amazon.de for release on 7th Nov, 4k without all the bombastics of the Collectors

Standard release in Germany/France/Spain is happening in November because they are not getting the Studiocanal collector’s edition release.

UK
Studiocanal when they have a limited collectors edition the 4K standard amaray releases only happen months later.

Studiocanal UK will sometimes fast track a standard amaray release if the collector editions sell out quickly.
