Are we sure it's a "cult following" or simply an audience that enjoys rewatching good films?

Where are these Trumanites people keep talking about?
Where do they hang out? What do they speculate about?
Or are they just folks that enjoy (re)watching good films?
I think I heard about those pesky Trumanites, it's basically everyone filming every aspect of their life on YouTube, yearning to have as much fame as Truman...

If you need an exterminator for Trumanite infestion... who ya gunna call?

Bruh, this list is outlandish, besides the fact that anyone can edit Wikipedia there's over 20,000 titles in there and I'm not sure anyone's keeping oversight on whether each one classifies as "cult" or not.
Those other sites are reviewers/bloggers that happen to have "cult" as part of their name/brand and basically review everything.

Obviously we're going to have agree to disagree here, but I have difficulty separating the crowd here that gives Truman a 10/10 cuz it's a great film and the "other" group that gives it a 10/10 that apparently devotes a particular amount of time to it to --- ???

A cult film is simply a film that has acquired a cult following years after been released.
It don't matter if the film was a box office hit or a flop when initially first released

There is lots of films that don't have a cult following years after initially been released some been flops or hits at box office and is why they don't get listed as Cult Classic

Glad I got in for the full slip. The lenticulars just didn’t do anything for me. I think when in hand pics start to appear, the FS will get the love it deserves

Same thoughts here... reckon it's going to surprise a lot of people (not that most will admit it :cautious:)

We're just relatively large parasitic species on this planet, that enjoys consuming stuff, including audiovisual content through various technical means.
Those mammals with more means aquire more of the content, on particular shiny discs, and are just called hoarders of waste...
