Ari Aster has been quoted many times as saying that The Wicker Man is one of the foremost influences on his creative process during the inception of Midsommer.
You can easily see that.
Its more like, Midsommer looks very Wicker Manish.

The CE artwork is by Richey Beckett. His previous Wicker Man artwork was used for a vinyl release of the soundtrack. That one has even more Midsommar vibes. They definitely sacrifice at the same alter.

nice steelbook. in the dvd days there was a special edition with the soundtrack. probably £18 at most. why are we paying £40? and why 3 cuts? I would rather lose one and have a soundtrack to listen to.
