Another lazy design from LRG when they could have just copied the standard artwork which is 10 times better.
Single colour background, an image of a character plastered on the front, maybe a second character or some developer/studio logos slapped on the back and done.
I don't get how they gave Psychonauts such a cool steelbook with the standard artwork and they've never done the same since

I actually don't mind the design. It is simple, but it pops! Very vibrant pink, could mistake it for a Barbie case lol
I don't mind simple, I just think when it comes to steelbooks the standard box art shouldn't look better design wise than the steel. For me the Steelbook is the exciting "upgrade" in comparison and the design overall (along with the finish) should reflect that if you are making us pay more for it.
It's not just the standard box art here, even the art on the collectors box looks great especially when it's the PS1 artwork which I feel would have really worked for these Steelbooks when it comes to classic titles.
Why do I feel if Gex gets a Steelbook it's going to be neon Green with just a single image of Gex on the front.
