Can’t decide if I’d want this. The movie is OK, but not sure I’d watch it again, which is odd, because it’s really well reviewed, audiences love it and I liked the original, but I can’t say I loved this one.

How many movies we all bought just because of pretty packaging, 'just to have' because we didn't hate it...
When actually we don't really love or need it. I'm at a point where I have to sort it not by alphabet, label, or Boxset look, but separate the truly loved and valued titles into a couple separate bookcases.
As much as I want to agree let's not pretend Twister was some masterpiece made by some high art we've lost over the years, Twister was mediocre too but it was competently put together, they had a formula and which produced a known quantity where everyone got what they expected/wanted out of it.
What is depressing is that Hollywood has gotten so far up its own behind they've forgotten how to consistently make this level of film.
I’ll be picking this up. I really enjoyed the film. Was it groundbreaking? No. It’s a disaster film like the original or Dante’s Peak So, for what it is I really enjoyed it. Does it have flaws, yeah. If you enjoy the genre I think you will enjoy it.
