Upcoming U2 biopic series [Netflix]

Netflix has a U2 biopic series in the works, with J.J. Abrams at the helm. Oscar-nominated screenwriter Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody) is attached to write the series, with Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. TV on the ground floor.

Wow! That's actually really really interesting, U2 being one of my fav bands. But surely Bad Robot is not going to stick to making a straight forward series about 4 white guys right?
