It's pretty nice but there are an awful lot of movies I either already have, have coming or am not that bothered about. Also 300 quid, yikes.

Warner Bros. 100 years Celebrating Every Story

Celebrate 100 years of Warner Bros. with this ultimate Studio Collection, bringing together 30 of Warner's most iconic films in glorious 4K UHD. Covering three eras of Hollywood - Classic Hollywood (1930s 1960s), New Hollywood (1970s 1980s) and Modern Blockbusters (1990s Today) - this collection represents the pinnacle of storytelling and Warner's indelible impact on the industry.

The featured films represent the most monumental titles in the Warner catalogue; from the technicolour wonders of The Wizard of Oz and Singin' in the Rain, to the genre-defining The Exorcist and Blade Runner, and modern-day icons in The Matrix and Mad Max: Fury Road. The collection also exclusively includes the legendary Western Rio Bravo and James Dean's iconic East of Eden in 4K for the first time.

The collection is housed in unique, premium packaging, featuring:
  • Cardboard outer slipcase with magnetic WB Shield clasp
  • 3 Layflat Books, each holding 10 4K discs, split into the Classic Hollywood, New Hollywood, and Modern Blockbuster eras. These also include timelines detailing the studio's impact on Hollywood.

Whoa! Universal did 3 volumes 6 films each, Sony Classics did an 11-movie box, these decided to knock them both out with a 30-film megabox containing FOUR wide digibooks right away!

Well, I love WB, probably my favorite studio, as they supplied the best various packages throughout all three formats of the last 25 years, plus I was always a Warner Animation fan, didn't like Disney even when was little, dressed exclusively in Warner stores for a few years with Bugs Bunny embroidery on every piece of clothing, so this time I'll even be happy to have those useless pins! There's one with Bugs Bunny! Give it here!

Plus it'll be an excuse to finally have many of those 'classic' films I never bought.
Classic Hollywood:
Only recently bought the DVD box set of Casablanca with baggage tag and passport cover, and other stuff.
Don't have any of the rest.

New Hollywood (1970s - 1980s)
This one is harder, got all but the old Willy Wonka, Superman and The Exorcist.

Modern Blockbusters (1990s - Today)
Same here, got everything but A Star is Born (why is that crap included at all) and It remake (will it be both films?)

So even though the price of £10 per movie, considering the premium packaging, is adequate and even low, I'd need to wait for at least a 45% sale.

£165 will do.

Nice looking set, and the pin badges are a cool bonus. There's only a handful of films there that I don't already own though, so it'll be a pass for me unfortunately (unless there's a big price drop).

Featuring Over 50 Hours of Extra Content
Ehh, just the commentaries though, since most extras are on BDs or second discs, which are not included!

This set looks to be for people that don't already have most of the movies, yet all of them are incomplete/have better individual releases.

I already have lot of these films in 4K
I also have individual pre orders done for
Cool Hand Luke (SteelBook)
The Maltese Falcon (SteelBook)

I will wait for individual 4K + Blu-ray releases in regards to
Enter the Dragon
The Exorcist
I expect the above 2 films will also get 4K+ Blu-ray SteelBook releases

All the films I can pretty much get behind…then there’s A Star is Born

I mean whatever floats your boat I guess

Easy pass I have the half dozen I need and only need to get the single release of Rebel without a Cause and The Maltese Falcon in April from that set and I'm assuming both Rio Bravo and Enter the Dragon won't be too far behind...
