Wicked (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) (Walmart Exclusive) [USA]

I saw others on reddit saying the same. I might have even saw someone whose order was cancelled, and I believe they preordered it last year. Guessing there will be a 2nd run, though Walmart has raised the price to over $40
I just saw they raised the price wtf I’m kicking myself because I saw the preorder back up on Monday (I’m assuming it was local stock hence why nothing is available locally now), but passed on it thinking my preorder would actually ship.
I’ve been calling around to further locations in between working to see if by chance they have any in stock. One location I called sounded completely confused as to what it was that I was asking about
Me: “I wanted to check if you have the Wicked 4K Steelbook in stock?”
WM Employee: *long pause* “Ok…… what is that?”
Me: “The movie Wicked. It came out yesterday. There’s a Walmart Exclusive 4K Steelbook.”
WM Employee: “Is that a movie or a book?”
I looked everyday and never saw it available. I honestly missed the announcement about a presale in December. I thought it would come out in march or April. I just wish they’d go back to having some in store or at least having them available on the release date to order. Kinda like what Best Buy mostly did in the past…sold out sold out sold out…then Tuesday there are copies in every store and online (with rare exceptions).
Me. I was lucky to get one yesterday but my online order is not moving at all and I preordered day one
Congrats on getting a copy! I’m glad I’m not alone with this whole preorder fiasco. Hopefully it restocks.
If I wind up with an extra, so if WM ships my order lol, I will let you know. Would sell it at cost
I appreciate it! It appears as if my preorder FINALLY shipped. Fingers crossed until it actually arrives.
