Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Next Generation. Terrible, terrible movie... I don't know why Tobe Hooper bothered to make this waste of film.



*A TIME TO KILL*
I liked the novel so I was interested to see how the movie would turn out. I think they did a pretty good job with it. At the time I pretty much just expected "dumb" roles from McConnaughey, but he did a decent job in it.

Favorite - Interstellar. It is nice to see Hollywood can still make a smart sci-fi that does not have giant ass robots tearing the hell out of major cities.

1. Interstellar: Its confession time. I've always passionately disliked MM in everything I've seen him in. However when Nolan chose him for the lead, I was caught up in my own personal impasse. Of course I want to see the brand new Christopher Nolan film on the big screen - but can I really stand almost 3 hours of The Dreaded Mcconaughey? Of course I gave Nolan the benefit of the doubt and trusted that he simply knew of some cosmic secrets of the universe that I didn't. In this case the secret was, buried deep inside the smarmy suntanned abs and swagger of MM, there was a great actor waiting to get out! Now Mcconaughey's on a roll and this to me is his best performance so far.

2. Killer Joe: While it was probably the turning point for his career, I have just three words for it: Finger Lickin' Gross!
